What we have been up to... Indoor Market - We have done three Saturdays in Newton Abbot Indoor Market and we are really enjoying it. We are definitely the most colourful stall and we have loved getting to know the other traders and the staff have been super helpful and friendly. It has a great community feel and it is the perfect location for us to have a base for customers to come and see us and squish the yarn in real life. This week we are going to add our new retro flower mugs to the stall alongside our stitch markers and paracord keychains.
What’s new in May... First up, we have a big birthday discount launching on Friday 6th May 2022 of 28% off all products on the website. This is valid until midnight on Monday 9th May 2022 (Hannah's birthday, 3 guesses on how old she is going to be). Also we have free U.K. delivery over £40, so this is a perfect opportunity to top up your yarn stash. Next, there will be a Shop Update on Sunday 15th May 2022 at 11:00 U.K. time. This will include our new retro flower mugs, the remaining solid colourways of the Bright Collection on our sock base and lots of One of a Kind skeins. Finally, we want to update you on our future focus for Fox & Squirrel Creations. We are going to change up the way we dye yarn. Instead of having set colourways that are replicated over and over again we are going to move towards one of a kind colourways. These will be small batches, no more that 6 x 100g skeins, and they will be random, spur of the moment colourways. This will help keep yarn dyeing fun, creative and dynamic. There will still be dye to order slots, if you want a specific colourway. We are also open to custom orders, so if you have particular colours in mind, email us and we can start a conversation about creating bespoke colourways. The only exception to repeatable colourways will be the solid colours e.g. the Bright Collection that is available on our sock base at the moment.
