What we have been up to... Country Show - On Saturday 6th August 2022 we exhibited at the Country Show at Newton Abbot Racecourse. The turn out for the event was high and we had a constant stream of people moving through the craft zone. We met lots of lovely customers, talked a lot about yarn and made sales, even in the middle of August in this heat. Pictured below is what our stall looked like and we were both very proud of how far we have come in setting up a stall and how professional it looked. We love this venue and how well organised it is and can't wait to be back for Stitch Fest SW in November and the Christmas Fayre, early December.
What’s new in August... Shop Update - On Friday 12th August 2022 at 17:00 BST we will be having a Shop Update. This will include all new zebra colourways and lots of varigated colourways on both Sock and Double Knit (DK). Price Increase - From the 1st September 2022 we will be increasing the price of our yarn. Due to increase costs in energy and supply costs, our yarn will being going up in price to reflect these increases. Below are the new prices: Platinum Sock will increase from £14 to £16 Platinum DK will increase from £14 to £16 Zebra Yarn (both Sock & DK) will increase from £15 to £17 Aran will stay at £18 Chunky will be priced at £18 This won't come into affect until the 1st September 2022, so you have the rest of August to shop at the current prices, plus there are loads or bargains in the sale to snap up.
Savannah (Sock/4ply) was snapped up at the Country Show to make pumpkins. There are still a few skeins left at the sale price of £10.
Firecracker (DK) was also popular over the weekend for all things Autumn, Halloween and pumpkins. This is also in the sale at £10. Shop Firecracker here
